Deploying digital advisors en masse requires organization to recruit, assign, support and finance them.
Five intercommunities (La Rochelle, Lille, Lyon, Strasbourg, the Sicoval) and two departments (Haute-Garonne and Rhône), accompanied by the association Les Interconnectés, have undertaken to combine their efforts within a Territorial Coordination for Digital Inclusion (CTIN).
This initiative, supported by the Secretary of State and the National Agency for Territorial Cohesion, will allow " to better respond to the digital support needs of inhabitants. Indeed, within the framework of local governance, the actions, tools, actors and funding available to fight against illiteracy will be better mobilized and more finely coordinated. Their effectiveness will thus be multiplied.
In addition, preliminary agreements in principle for the deployment of France Services digital advisors have been signed by the five local authorities involved in the CTINs, as well as by the departments of Haute-Garonne, in association with SICOVAL, and Rhône. These preliminary agreements stipulate that the State will reserve 185 digital advisors (for a total of €9.25 million) for these territories.
This France Relance plan device for digital inclusion 250 million euro plan aims to deploy 4,000 digital advisors in the field to help the most remote French people become autonomous with everyday digital tools. Fully financed by the State, these support professionals will organize workshops to introduce people to digital technology: exchanging with family and friends, creating a CV, following their children's schooling online, controlling their personal data, checking information, etc.
