The Ministry of Territorial Cohesion has set up a mission in charge of formulating proposals to develop collaborative work spaces, including in medium-sized cities and rural areas.
This mission, led by Patrick Levy Waitz, has just opened an online public consultation to "identify the existing models of third places and coworking spaces and better understand the current and future challenges, but also the means of development.
The phases of the consultation are centered around the expectations and needs of the users of the third places.
The contributors are asked to express themselves on several themes: the role of elected officials, the community, the economic models of coworking spaces...
This consultation is open until June 15, 2018.
There are currently nearly 700 spaces dedicated to coworkingspaces, unevenly distributed over the territory.
