The Grande École du numérique (GEN) has just published the results of its call for labeling launched on April 5, 2018.
Out of 855 applications, 347 new digital training courses that rigorously respected the 5 eligibility criteria and took into consideration the 10 selection criteria of the specifications were awarded the GEN Label.
42% of the new accredited training courses are located in a priority urban policy district (QPV).
The Grande École du Numérique is a network of training programs for digital professions, with courses lasting from one month to 42 months, often focused on programming, but some dedicated to project management or marketing.
The criteria for access to the GEN label stipulate, in particular, that each training course must train a minimum of 10 low-qualified or unqualified job seekers per session, free of charge. The ultimate objective is to reach 80% of the trainees with a level of secondary education or less per session.
The certified training courses include a minimum of 30% of women at the national level. Some sessions are entirely made up of women.
These 347 trainings are in addition to the 410 trainings previously labeled GEN.
