The survey on Labour Requirements Survey (BMO) 2022The BMO survey, conducted annually by Pôle emploi, covers all employers (excluding government agencies). Between October and December 2021, 419,979 establishments responded to the questionnaire.
In 2022, all sectors show a strong increase in hiring intentions compared to last year's estimates, except for agriculture where the expected increase is less strong.
Among the sectors that plan to recruit the most are personal services (37.6% of all hiring intentions) and business services (23.9%).
However, 58% of companies believe that they will have difficulty recruiting in 2022 (13 points more than in 2021). This increase in recruitment difficulties concerns both small organizations (with less than 10 employees) and establishments with more than 200 employees.
With 40,030 recruitment projects, the IT engineering and R&D manager profession is among the "top 10" professions with the most non-seasonal recruitment projects.
The six professions grouped under the "IT and telecommunications" category total 79,000 recruitment projects.
