Caisse des Dépôts and the OpenDataFrance association are cooperating to set up theObservatoire open data des territoires.
The aim is to provide national and local public actors, observers, media, committed associations, researchers and economic agents with precise data on the progress of open data in local authorities.
Various synthetic indicators are developed from the data collected on the publishing platforms, they mainly concern :
- Local authorities publishing data in open data: number, type (region, department, EPCI, commune), geographical distribution
- Open data sets: number, date, theme, access mode, quality, license
- Publishing platforms: number, type (website, dedicated or shared portal), technical solution, carriers.
- Uses: reuse (applications and datasets), traffic (number of downloads)
- Territorial animation: stimulation of reuse (internal, external) and the offer of support to communities
The project is led by OpendataFrance. In partnership with the Caisse des Dépôts Group, Etalab, nam.r, the "Cities and Digital" chair at Sciences Po Paris, the Villes-internet association and the New Generation Internet Foundation (FING).
