Summary

OpenFisca is a digital commons project which, starting from the observation that our social relationships are organized by rules (laws, regulations, uages, etc.), aims to describe some of these rules in a computerized form in order to facilitate their understanding, simulation and implementation for the benefit of all. OpenFisca can be used in any field of legislation describing logical situations, and is currently used to evaluate the impact of new laws on citizens and on the State budget, as well as to allow users and beneficiaries to better understand their rights and obligations, thanks to simulators such as TaxIPP, LexImpact and MesAides.

OpenFisca is therefore of interest to users and beneficiaries of public services, but also to legislators (by allowing them to visualize the practical consequences of a standard under discussion) and companies (by facilitating compliance and decision-making).

In fact, in order to take into account and support all the uses and contributions made to OpenFisca within the French community, we wanted to collect as much feedback as possible from the project's stakeholders (current or future users or contributors). This information will help us to structure and develop the community, encouraging exchanges within the French community as well as with other national communities. This approach is part of the support provided by the National Agency for Territorial Cohesion (ANCT) in collaboration with the firm Inno³.

So, don't hesitate to answer this short questionnaire (5 min) and to pass it on to anyone who participates (or could participate) in the French OpenFisca community. It will be completed in a second time by a survey for the international community
