Digital interfaces magazine: "sharing, exchange, contribution, participation
The journal interfaces numériques wishes to mobilize researchers on the questions raised by the recurrent appearance of the terms "sharing, exchange, contribution and participation" in digital activities and beyond.Internet and social networks are vectors mobilizing the notions of sharing, exchange, contribution and participation. This would be their raison d'être. However, practices and uses question these values put forward by marketing. The uses are diverse and sometimes diverge from them. It would be useful to question what the framework given by the exchange and contribution approaches can allow as uses but also as adaptations, reorientations and deviations.
- The educational world values the use of communicating tools from kindergarten onwards by crossing objectives: bringing families, learners and the institution closer together, increasing student participation, etc. Sharing, exchanging, contributing and participating would favor active pedagogies because of the need for a medium accessible to all. What perspectives and issues do these empowering acts propose?
- Video games are often played on a network. Playing often means contributing to the construction of the game's universe, if only by populating it with the player's animated character. At the same time, games encourage sharing and socializing behaviors that can extend beyond the screen. Could the game contract be based on sharing, exchange, contributions and participation?
- The world of creation sees the place of the author questioned in favor of collectives. If the diffusion tends to question the intermediaries, the production also finds new tools of sharing with the fablabs and a new creative orientation with the maker culture which values the collaboration.
- Cultural and artistic consumption elicits aesthetic experience and attention from others. In order for the artist to create a link with the receiver of the work, sharing, exchanging, contributing and participating are mobilized. In the museums and extra-muros of the multimedia devices support the participation of everyone. Do these proposals of sharing, exchanges, contributions increase the role of the viewers of the paintings?

Communication Policies: Youtube , a space for political expression?
This issue of Politiques de Communication explores Youtube as a space for political communication. Political actors use it as a new means of proximity communication, allowing the expression of minority political ideas or those that are kept out by the media. In addition, new actors, "amateurs" at the beginning, try to explain politics by using new modes of expression, popularizing questions of public order, more or less linked to current events. Faced with the diversity of uses, issues, and forms of political expression on this digital platform, this dossier favors a multidisciplinary approach, addressing researchers in information and communication sciences, political science, anthropology or sociology, educational sciences or social psychology.Youtube thus appears as a new form of mediation of politics, according to several factors:
- in that new actors, "amateurs" at first, claiming to explain politics, intervene, chronicle, and popularize the political and public question, in new modes of expression;
- New political actors seize it, and find there a platform of pre-constructed industrial expression, which exempts from the expenses of diffusion, as long as a "community" can be constituted around their videographic word;
- Political actors who previously used other means of expression resort to Youtube as a space for proximity communication, the possibly long time of the video allowing the expression of political ideas that would be in the minority or kept aside by the media, especially during elections. Youtube is then the space of a "direct" expression of circumvention, which is posed as de-mediatized, but is mediated by a digital platform.

Colloquium "Digital Literacy through the lens of the sociologies of education and culture".
The growing importance of digital technologies in all social spheres leads us not only to integrate their contributions in the social and cultural practices we analyze, but also to question the way in which educational, cultural and artistic institutions seize these new objects. This colloquium wishes to shed light on these themes in order to situate these practices, whether they are active, hybrid, differentiated or collaborative, and this, in order to better grasp the stakes related to digital literacy, that is to say all the techniques and scriptural and reading practices, whatever the social, educational, cultural or artistic space in which they are exercised.This international symposium proposes to study the digital under four axes.
- Digital literacy and education
- Reading practices, scriptural practices and digital
- Cultural practices today and digital literacy
- The digital: sociological object?
Mappemonde magazine: "Mapping and innovation
Does the question of innovation make sense in cartography? What is it about?- How and why can we ask the question of innovation in cartography?
- Is it a source of improvement in representations?
- Is it only about mapping or is it a purely geomatic issue? Technical?
- Innovative practice or representation? Innovative technology?
- How does this relate to interoperability? Time? The multiplication of representation points of view?
- What influence does this have on the readability of research results and the emergence of new knowledge (or more precise knowledge) about territories and their functioning?
- Mapping of innovations or innovative mapping: what relationship(s)?
- Is cartographic innovation a question of use or technology?
- Is the innovation attached to the cartographic project or to its realization?
- How has history carried cartographic innovations?
Colloquium "Internet and the new forms of political participation
This conference, organized by the ANR APPEL project in Lille, on March 28 and 29, 2019, aims to bring together empirically based works that, based on new data and/or new methods, reinterrogate this now traditional question of the effects of new technologies on political participation, by posing it from the different angles that may have been approached:- that of the participants, with in particular the question of the articulation between the "social divide in terms of political participation" ("participatory divide") and the "digital divide
- modes of action, including the question of the articulation between online and offline modes of action
- that of the contents, with in particular the question of the renewal or not of the forms of enunciation of the political
- or even, that of the impacts, with in particular the question of the forms of impact and the articulation with the impact of the other forms of political participation".
