From 2014 to 2017, the Capacity research project, supported by the French National Research Agency (ANR), brought together the Fing, IMT Atlantique (Mines Telecom Bretagne) and the University of Rennes 2 around a questioning: "what is the potential of the digital society to distribute more egalitarian capacities to act".
The Capacity project is behind a national survey that focuses on the reality and perception of digital empowerment among a representative sample of the French population. Supported by the Agence du Numérique, this survey was conducted in 2017. It led to a series ofanalyses.
The Capacity project has enabled the organization of a program of "capacity and digital" seminars.
Under the title " Exploring the realities of empowerment in the digital age", the teams gathered around the Capacity project propose to deliver their work for discussion during two closing study days on 20 and 21 September 2018, in Rennes
The first day will be devoted to the scientific aspects of the question of empowerment in the digital regime, the second to the dialogue with professionals, field actors and decision makers.
