Conducted by a consortium of researchers from the UMR Vitrome, the Cochin-Pasteur Clinical Investigation Center, the École des hautes études en santé publique (EHESP) and the Observatoire régional de la santé Sud-Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, the Coconel study aims to monitor more specifically the psychological, emotional and behavioral response of the French population to the COVID-19 epidemic and to confinement.
The first two summary notes correspond to the first two waves of surveys which took place from March 27 to 29 for the first wave, i.e. 10 days after the announcement of the confinement, and from March 31 to April 2 for the second.
The first note details the main results of the 1st wave (1012 respondents questioned between March 27 and 29, 2020) on 4 aspects: containment and living conditions, personal proximity to covid-19, opinions regarding containment, prognosis on the duration of the epidemic
The second note details the main results of the 2nd wave (1005 respondents questioned between March 31 and April 2, 2020) on certain aspects unexploited in wave 1: sleep disorders, signs of psychological distress, personal proximity to COVID-19, acceptability of a COVID-19 vaccine, prognosis on the duration of the epidemic
Deployed in successive waves, these questionnaires are then analyzed by researchers who transmit their research notes to the government's scientific council, to Santé Publique France and to the Direction Générale de la Santé.
