France Université Numérique, in collaboration with its member institutions and partners, will progressively reopen the archived MOOCs to make them accessible to as many people as possible.
In this context, the opening of courses will take place in two possible ways: "open archiving" or "animated session".
Open archive" mode: This mode implies that the forums and collaborative spaces remain closed. In view of the exceptional situation we are experiencing, and the need to mobilize everyone, all courses will gradually reopen. The "archived open" MOOCs will be identifiable thanks to a yellow vertical bar on their thumbnail and a sentence of explanation at the beginning of the presentation page.Animated session" mode: Institutions can choose this mode, which is the classic deployment of a MOOC on FUN MOOC. With this mode, learners are accompanied by the teaching team through forums and have access to all activities, including, if necessary, obtaining a certificate of completion. The main added value of a MOOC in animated session is the creation of a community of learners who can help each other and be helped by the teaching team. This community is an important factor in the acquisition of knowledge and skills: a real plus compared to the "open archive" mode.In total there are more than 470 courses that will be available to learners.
