The relaunch is an unprecedented opportunity to use digital technology to make public services more accessible to citizens, closer to their daily needs, and simpler.
The Government is mobilizing a budget of 88 million from the France Recovery Plan to support local authorities in defining and implementing their digital transformation projects.
These funds will be used to finance digital tools to facilitate and accelerate procedures for citizens and the daily work of agents.

A method that breaks with the logic of calls for projects
The State is devoting a budget of 30 million euros to co-construct with local authorities and groups of authorities digital services that respond to the concrete problems and needs of the territories. To this end, it is proposed that local authorities experiment with a new method of cooperation that breaks with the logic of calls for projects. The idea is to start from the needs of the territories to develop digital services with and for the greatest number of them.
The ANCT's Incubateur des Territoires is launching a national consultation with local authorities, their groups and their partners with a double objective:
- Identify the need for new digital services that require public support to design and deploy them: report problems of poor housing, facilitate the referral of users to the appropriate services of the community, connect local artisans with residents, etc.
- Identify existing digital services to support and finance their development in open code and their deployment to other interested territories: tools for reporting damaged roads, managing user relations, making public facilities available, etc.
