The latest issue of the " Cahiers de l'action" collection , coordinated by Emmanuel Porte, is devoted to the emergence and structuring of digital mediation. It approaches this subject from the angle of the transformation of the professions of animation, mediation and popular education.
"How does digital technology shake up the professional practices of the actors? What does it change in the postures of animation or mediation? How does it question the territories of intervention and the networks of actors? What new professions are emerging, and for what relationship with the public?"This book makes the link between popular education practices and the development of public policies and reflections to support the expansion of digital mediation activities.
It shows"the variety of challenges that actors are trying to meet and the importance of collective dynamics. It is about spaces of engagement and learning around the digital (third places, digital territory, digital public space, fablab, library...) but also about educational practices enhanced by collective experiences and new tools".
