The first issue of the new open access research journal from the École nationale supérieure des sciences de l'information et des bibliothèques (Enssib) will appear in December 2019.
Balisages is intended to host research work at the intersection of information, communication and library sciences and the anthropology of knowledge. A field of research teeming with possibilities, between digital and semiotic markers, which touches on documents as well as data, paper and digital, and the tensions that work on them.The thematic dossier of the first issue of Balisages will question the natively digital objects with regard to the new documentary issues they raise: in a structurally unstable digital context, constantly reconfiguring itself, is the concept of "document" still operational?
