Within France Stratégie in 2013, the CSR Platform formulates "recommendations on social, environmental and governance issues raised by corporate social responsibility".
At the end of 2019, the CSR Platform formed a working group entitled "Corporate Digital Responsibilities" to address the CSR issues raised by the digital transition of companies.
The working group will initially focus on "the responsibility of companies for the production, use and protection of data collected in the course of their business".
Installed by the Prime Minister within France Stratégie in 2013, the CSR Platform's mission is to :
- to make any recommendation it deems relevant to the State, or to other institutions and organizations, including its members, likely to reinforce the sincere practices of social responsibility of companies and other organizations, in particular concerning the valorization of CSR approaches;
- Participate in consultations with administrations that wish to involve it, contribute to the formulation of a draft "national plan of priority actions" in favor of CSR, addressing both public policies and private initiatives and exploring ways to develop them;
- build a widely accessible document base to encourage the dissemination of a CSR-friendly culture
- contribute through its proposals to the development of French positions for negotiations on CSR.
