More than 980,000 training courses were taken via the CPF last year. This is almost twice as many as a year earlier (517,000 trainings).
According to the DARES (Direction de l'Animation de la Recherche, des Études et des Statistiques) of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Integration, this sharp increase in training taken can be explained by the opening at the end of November 2019 of the "direct purchase pathway" (PAD), via the My Training Account website and application, which allows people to mobilize their rights without an intermediary to purchase training.
The training courses taken on computers (10.3% of the total) rank fourth, after training for driving licenses (25.9%), languages (17%) and those relating to the development of orientation, integration or reintegration skills (15.2%).
