The Grande École du Numérique is a network of 410 training courses in digital professions, with courses lasting from one month to 42 months, often focused on programming, but some dedicated to project management or marketing.
Since its inception in 2016, more than 11,000 people have been trained or are in training.

The number of people enrolled in training or who started training doubled from 45 87 in 2016 to 95 82 in 2017.
Training courses last from 1 to 42 months. On average, a course lasts 7 months. Trainings last 1,417 hours on average and 75% of them last more than 410 hours.
56% of training courses are exclusively face-to-face and 4% exclusively online1. On average, 91% of training modules are delivered face-to-face and 12% online.

While the Ile-de-France region accounts for 25% of the training courses, it represents 52% of the learners trained. The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Hauts de France, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and Occitanie regions are among the active regions, both in terms of the number of courses and the number of learners.
The Grande École du Numérique trains mainly young people
69% of learners are under 30 years old. The 31-49 year old population mainly accesses training through professional retraining.People who are far from employment (neither in employment nor in training) represent 65% of the learners, women 24%, and people from priority city districts 17%.
Training courses with a technical focus
67% of the training courses concern technical professions dedicated to digital tools, with 128 training courses for web/mobile developers and 116 training courses specialized in web/mobile application development.7% of the training courses lead to diplomas. Most of them are certifying and registered in the National Directory of Professional Certifications (RNCP). The nature of these certifications differs depending on whether they are based on upgrading digital skills or are pre-qualifying to allow certain learners to continue their training. In all cases, the Grande École du Numérique certificate is provided to each learner who has completed a certified training program.

The Grande École du Numérique evaluates the proportion of professional exits at 74%: permanent contract, fixed-term contract, apprenticeship contract, professionalization contract, entrepreneurship, continuation of training or positive salaried activity": only 23% of learners sign a permanent contract.
5,000 digital training courses by 2019
The Grande École du Numérique launched a new call for labeling in April 2018. By 2019, the training courses labeled during this call for projects will train 5,000 people nationwide with little or no qualifications (baccalaureate level or lower) who are looking for work.A budget of nearly 37 million euros has been allocated to this third call for certification, as part of the skills investment plan managed by the Ministry of Labor.
