An " Open Government Action Plan " had been initiated between 2018 and 2020 by the government.
The next action plan 2021-2023 will focus on the following themes
- transparency of public action results
- environmental issues
- fight against the pandemic
- local public action
- user at the heart of public action
- citizen participation
- digital inclusion
- transparency of the recovery plan.
The action plan commitments will be developed through online input, open ministries, workshops, and a dematerialized open state forum. Finalization and consolidation of the action plan is expected in December 2021.
France has been committed since 2014 to transparency and efficiency in public action within the framework of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) alongside 77 countries and thousands of associations. France joined the Partnership in 2014.
