During the confinement, the educational system has abruptly switched to distance learning. In order to learn from this unprecedented experience, and in particular from the new school forms that have been implemented, the Ministry of Education organized on November 4 and 5, 2020, the Etats Généraux du Numérique pour l'Education (EGNé).
The Etats Généraux du Numérique éducatif will be prepared in three stages:
Development of a feedback (from containment to the end of the regular school year)
Organization of an online consultation (from mid-June to mid-September)
States General in the territories (from mid-September to mid-October) The Etats Généraux du Numérique éducatif will address some twenty issues grouped into five themes:
- Equal digital access for all - without digital divide (social, inclusive and territorial angle);
- Teaching and learning with digital technology (business angle focused on pedagogy and the teacher-student relationship);
- Working together differently and collaborating for a common professional digital culture (business angle and transformation of the practices of all MENJ agents and their partners);
- Responsible and sovereign digital technology (legal, ethical and economic aspects);
- Better governance and anticipation (organizational, partnership and societal angles).
Digital theme groups
Digital thematic groups will be set up with the aim of- To take stock of the state of research
- To identify elements of strategic orientation and action levers to support digital practices in the field in the academy;
- To propose prospective scenarios and concrete actions to exploit digital technologies for educational and pedagogical purposes
- To work in relation with the scientific council of the National Education, or with European or worldwide institutions involved in Open Education.
