FranceConnect is the identification system that allows individuals to connect to online public services using one of their existing accounts (Taxes, Ameli, IDN La Poste, Mobile Connect and Moi). FranceConnect does not require any prior registration and allows users to avoid memorizing multiple identifiers and passwords.
FranceConnect had a total of 7.5 million users at the end of 2018, or about 1.6 million recurring users per month, an average of 12,000 new users/day.In July, FranceConnect passed the milestone of 10 million users.
FranceConnect is now deployed on 500 public sites (cities, departments or ministries) and, since last November, allows users to connect to online services in the private sector (banks, insurance companies, etc.).
FranceConnect currently attracts more than 500,000 new users per month and aims to cover 25 million users by 2022.
