The Grande école du numérique has updated its list of the 15 most sought-after digital jobs in 2021, with their evolution in one year, as well as the specific needs by region.
These are digital professions that are accessible without academic prerequisites, and which anyone can train for thanks to the GEN network's training courses.
The DevOps developer job in France has seen the most significant evolution, moving from 3rd to 2nd place among the most sought-after jobs by recruiters.
Full Stack Developers (6,289), Dev Ops (4,695) and Digital Business Developers (4,156) are the jobs with the highest demand.
For each region, the NEG Observatory takes stock of the skills needs related to the digital dynamics of each of these regions.

- The Paris region is home to the majority of digital jobs and establishments, as well as a very dynamic ecosystem of startups.
- Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes has made the development of the digital ecosystem one of its priorities, notably with the creation of the Regional Digital Campus in the Lyon metropolis
- The Hauts-de-France region has 10 incubators, 15 clusters and 8 competitive clusters.
- The Pays de la Loire region stands out with a strong demand for system and network technicians.
- The Grand-Est region has also made digital technology a pillar of its development, particularly in networks and telecoms.
- In Occitania, the region is focusing on the development of new clusters outside the Toulouse and Montpellier agglomerations.
- The trio of Bourgogne Franche-Comté, Centre Val-de-Loire and Normandy stand out for their search for Community Manager and Data Analyst profiles.
