Deployment of Pix Emploi for access to employment for young people and job seekers

Summary

By December 1, 2021, more than 300,000 young people and job seekers had already completed a Pix pathway in Pôle emploi agencies, local Missions, and Cap emploi since the beginning of the year."As part of its priority on digital inclusion, Pôle emploi is developing a complete range of digital services in order to offer jobseekers tailored pathways that are adapted to their assessed level on Pix emploi."

Aimed at job seekers and young people, the Pix emploi tests help measure and improve their level of mastery of digital skills, with a view to putting them to use in their job search and sustainable professional integration. Moreover, based on the test results, the advisors are able to guide the beneficiaries towards appropriate support and training programs.

In the Missions locales and Cap Emploi, digital workshops are offered by the structures themselves, or in conjunction with the digital mediation and training actors in each territory.

Since the platform's launch in September 2017, more than 6 million users - students, professionals, job seekers, retirees - have registered on Pix to assess, develop and enhance their digital skills.

To date, Pix users have participated in more than 445,000 assessment campaigns covering the 5 main domains and 16 digital competencies of the European DigComp Framework.

Since February 2018, more than 600,000 Pix certifications, recognized by the state and the professional world, have been passed allowing the skills of their holders to be valued.

Pix.fr, a free online public service open to all

Pix is deployed to assess and develop digital skills in more than 15,000 organizations in France and abroad, such as schools and higher education institutions, public bodies and administrative services, public employment services, training organizations, digital mediation structures, as well as private sector organizations or companies.

Pix.fr is a free online public service open to all - students, professionals, job seekers, retirees... - to assess and develop their digital skills through learning and fun challenges.

Initiated in 2016, Pix leads a mission of general interest: to fight against the digital divide by giving each citizen the means to improve and enhance their mastery of it throughout their lives, through the Pix Certification, recognized by the State and by the professional world.
