Concerned with " supporting those who want to put the Internet and its uses at the service of a fairer, more united and more egalitarian society" , the Afnic Foundation has just launched a new call for projects. This call for projects is aimed at associations and cooperatives.
It concerns actions aiming at setting up new forms of collaboration or directly involving beneficiaries who are far from digital in their personal or professional practices.
In 2018, The Afnic Foundation will support projects along three lines of intervention.
Digital technology to accompany the changes in our society
innovative solutions for people with disabilities, the elderly or in the field of public health, taking into account environmental issues, the impact of digital technology on our sociability, new forms of governance, expression or citizen participation, responses to isolated populations (rural areas, mountain areas)Access to digital technology to promote social and professional integration of isolated populations
appropriation of digital tools, cultural actions that promote social diversity or that maintain intergenerational links, integration or training of people who are farthest from employment, improvement of everyone's daily life with the help of digital technology, educational devices for the benefit of children and adults through playful approaches, fight against the precariousness of socially underprivileged or excluded people (homeless, migrants, etc.).Digital technology, a way to improve the efficiency of actions
(effectiveness of interventions carried out by professionals in the social and integration sectors, networking of actors mobilized to help people in difficulty, new methods of collaboration in an organization or a social place)The call for projects is open until May 4, 2018.
