With the support of Humanis, the Bouygues Telecom Foundation and the AFNIC Foundation, the Fondation Agir contre l'exclusion (FACE) has developed theMoney Deal application, a fun smartphone game designed to help people manage their budgets and anticipate daily and unexpected expenses.
In France, 6% of households are in a situation of financial fragility, which represents more than 3 million people. These difficulties can quickly lead to over-indebtedness, particularly in the event of unforeseen events, or force some households to abandon more or less essential expenses (health, leisure, culture, etc.), which destabilizes households. To avoid this situation, good budgetary management on a daily basis and good reactivity in case of problems are essential.
The application allows you to create your own "avatar" to recreate a scenario that is closest to your own situation, depending on your age, family situation, income level and job.
It can be used by social support and financial education professionals or beneficiaries.
The application is currently being tested in the Dunkirk area, with FACE Flandre Maritime, with 50 households. The evaluation of the experiment will allow us to adjust and improve the application and then deploy the digital tool to all the support actors and beneficiaries, during 2018.
