Two years after its launch,FranceConnect has six million users (3 million in February 2017). 150,000 of them use it every day.
With nearly 18,000 new users per day, FranceConnect records an average of 121,000 daily connections.
A total of 350 online services are now "FranceConnected", including those of the Agence Nationale des Titres sécurisés (ANTS), the Assurance retraite, the Info retraite, the Impôts, the Assurance Maladie and Enedis, as well as those of a growing number of local authorities for their own online procedures.
3,000 simplified procedures by 2022Following the 1st Interministerial Committee for Public Transformation on February 1, the government announced that starting in April, any new online public service launched after April 1, 2018 will be accessible through FranceConnect Identity .
Existing online public services will be progressively made accessible by FranceConnect until December 31, 2020 "at the latest".
A " highly secure 'FranceConnect Identity' pathway will be available by December 31, 2019, to enable the launch of online services requiring enhanced user authentication, such as applying for a power of attorney online or filing a complaint online."
France Connect is one of the 17 projects selected as part of the "transformation of public action" project and will receive a budget of 19.3 million euros.
Towards a FranceConnect for the educational systemThe Ministry of Education has announced the generalization of a unique FranceConnect Education authentication system for all educational services and resources, which will make it possible to manage the link between legal guardians and minors.
Commissioned in June 2016, the FranceConnect, the French government's online identification and authentication system, allows users to access all their public services online without necessarily having to have accounts with them. With FranceConnect, users are invited to authenticate themselves using accounts they already have, such as impots.gouv.fr, ameli.fr, idn.laposte.net or mobile connect et moi.
FranceConnect is targeting 9 to 10 million users in 2019.
