During the first lockdown from March 17 to May 11, 2020, the Marsouin Scientific Interest Group conducted an exceptional survey on the digital uses of Bretons and more globally of the French during this unprecedented period.
The survey was conducted between April and May 2020 among the Breton population (1,500 people) and 1,000 people throughout the territory.
The GIS Marsouin has just devoted a note to the digital equipment of the Bretons and its use for travel certificates.
According to the survey, 73% of Breton households own a printer, 2% have one during the lockdown, and 87% of them have a computer and/or a smartphone with internet access.
"A large majority of Bretons could therefore have used this equipment to print their certificate at home or generate it in digital format on their smartphone."According to the results of the Marsouin, CAPUNI Crise survey, 35% of respondents used a certificate written on plain paper or cut out of a newspaper, 9% recovered already printed certificates
- 23% used the digital format on a smartphone.
- 2% downloaded and printed it from somewhere other than their home.
