The Bibliothèque Nationale de France (BNF) has just made a first assessment of the visits to its online services; it reports 1.3 million visitors on all the sites of the BNF: bnf.fr, Gallica, Retronews, catalogue resources, data.bnf.fr.
The BNF thus recorded a 20% increase in its audience, with 36 million visits.
- The BnF's aggregator, data.bnf.fr, has seen its traffic increase by 45%.
- After its launch in 2016, BnF's news site, Retronews, received 2.3 million visits in 2017.
- Gallica, the BnF's digital library, saw an 11% increase in usage, receiving nearly 16 million visits in 2017.
Attendance at events increased by 60%.
